If you can surf at an official Wavepool Surf Tour venue, you can enter. There are no qualifying events, no travelling from contest to contest and no waiting for the right swell. Instead, you surf during the event window, upload your best rides and compete. It really is that straightforward.

Four Simple Steps To Enter The Wavepool Surf Tour

First, create your athlete profile on the Wavepool Surf Tour website and enter the event you want to compete in. Choose the correct division, complete your registration and you're ready to go.

Next, book a surf session at the official event wavepool. The session is booked directly with the wavepool, just as you normally would.

After your session, purchase your official video footage from the wavepool's video provider. Then simply choose your two best waves and upload them in landscape format through your athlete portal within the event time limits. Competitors have seven days after surfing to submit their waves.

Once entries close, an international judging panel scores every submission. All waves will be given a scale and your two wave scores are combined and placed on the live leaderboard, where you can see how you compare with surfers from around the world. If you think you can improve one or both your waves you have the option to upload better waves.

A New Way To Compete

The Wavepool Surf Tour combines the simplicity of a local surf session with the excitement of international competition. Simply surf at your local or closest Wavepool when it suits you during the competition window, rather than at one fixed contest time. That gives every competitor the opportunity to produce their best performance in consistent conditions.

Whether you're chasing a podium finish, aiming for the leaderboard or simply curious to see how your surfing compares with riders from other countries, the process is refreshingly simple.

Register. Surf. Submit. Compete.

That's all there is to it.
