The Alaïa Surf Challenge brings surfers to Sion from around the world. For many, the trip is also a chance to spend a little time in the city beyond Alaïa Bay. Competitors, friends and families can get to know Sion through a special offer from our partner, Sion Tourisme.
Two Sion Wine Tour Tickets For The Price Of One
The two-hour guided Sion Wine Tour takes visitors through the old town, with stops at three historical sites. Along the way, the group tastes five Sion wines and enjoys a selection of Valais cold meats.
Tours run Monday to Saturday throughout the year, subject to reservation. There are three starting times to choose from: 10:00, 15:15 and 17:00. That leaves room to fit a tour around a session at the pool or make an afternoon of it with friends and family.
Tickets usually cost CHF 59 per person. With this offer, two people can take the tour for CHF 59.

Wavepool Surf Tour Competitor Merch Packs
Competitors can also pick up an official Wavepool Surf Tour Competitor Merch Pack at Alaïa Bay. Each $80 pack includes a WPST Competitor T-shirt and cap, a WPST-branded Igloo water bottle, EQ sunscreen and WPST Competitor stickers.
Surfers who have already entered can order a pack through My Entries by clicking ‘add categories & extras’. Those still to enter can add one during registration. Once at Alaïa Bay, competitors can collect their packs from the Surf Shop.
Merch packs are exclusive to Alaïa Surf Challenge competitors, and numbers are limited.
